The death of a dream

It took me a loooooot of time to finish this piece. A heck of a long time, but finally I really like how it came out and I know that the picture isn't the best, but it's the best I could do for now.  The lady's figure and the words are drawn with charcoal, everything else is painted with acrylic.
The colors are meant to be the passion and talent of a person. Sometimes a person gives up on themselves and has their dreams die, bringing down the person with them.
Even though I think it's a pretty good piece I have it facing away from me because I find it depressing.
Anyway, thought I would share. It was my third project for school.
